IST500 IN SITU MIXER MIll
IST 500 is our most versatile mixer mill, specially adapted for in situ monitoring by laboratory Raman spectroscopy or synchrotron diffraction methods, but also for pulverization of hard samples, synthesis of soft materials and, with suitable adapters, disruption of biological cells. As IST600 high-energy mill, it can be operated remotely over computer or server, thus simplifying your experiments and making your performance even more efficient.
The maximum time of milling over remote control is 5 hours, but it can be further adjusted according to the customer's specific needs.

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES
- Plug-and-play in situ monitoring by synchrotron X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy
- Air-cooled in order to prevent overheating of reaction vessels and the mill
- Overnight or long-term grinding
- Lowered noise level: around 67 dB during grinding
- Lots of accessories available, from milling jars of different sizes and materials to adapters suitable for biological cell disruption
- Option of additional custom equipment:
- Adapter for 2 additional milling vessels
- Software for remote control
Time-resolved in situ Raman monitoring of mechanochemical synthesis of organic amide product without the need to stop the mill and open the milling vessel. The collected data helps revealing the mechanisms and kinetics behind the synthetic process.
